I built this for a friend way back in 2010. Unlike many airsoft VSS builds starting from an AK receiver, I built this from the ground up to keep most of the dimensions intact as it is much smaller than an AK. It took about a couple months to build and is almost entirely constructed out of PVC plastic. Because of this it is also very light a little over 2kg. It disassembles like the real thing also emulating the quick detach function of the integral suppressor. This is such a small gun that the only place left to put a battery is in the suppressor. I used a version 3 gearbox and an AK hop and barrel assembly. The imitation PSO-1 is also made from scratch which has a red dot optic inside. AK magazines fit, but I also made a 10 round 9x39 magazine fed by a 30 round Tokyo Marui shotgun shell. music: There March the Soldiers by the Red Army Choir
